CONSUMER MEDICAL DEVICES: Overview
Consumer devices displayed are Blood Pressure Monitors and Hearing Aids.

Determining a patient's blood pressure accurately is critical prior to most medical treatment, and a blood pressure monitor can use Korotkoff, Oscillometry, or Pulse Transit Time methods to measure blood pressure.

Recent developments in hearing aids have enhanced the features and capabilities for greater quality of life for the user. On the way are models with remote controlled "tunable" and even disposable units.
